Donna and her son wanted a room for the cross-trainer and other gym equipment to give them a dedicated space for working out. We applied for planning permission on their behalf as we had made this garden room 3.1m high at the front, rather than the usual 2.5m to ensure there was enough head-room. The build is 3.5m wide x 3.8m deep which includes a separate storage area at the rear for gardening and DIY equipment. We finished the exterior in mid-grey composite cladding with uPVC French doors and a top hung window for ventilation. The end result is both smart and practical, allowing the family to ditch the gym and watch their favourite TV shows while keeping fit!
