We design and build in Surrey as well as Sussex: garden offices, gyms, studios, annexes and golf simulator rooms, each one tailor-made, fully insulated and finished ready to use, with a 10 year guarantee and a six-month after-care visit.
Golf simulator rooms need a minimum internal height of 3 metres for a full swing, so they are usually taller than a standard garden room. Our Apex range, at 4m high externally, is increasingly popular for golf, and our in-house planning specialists take care of the application when one is needed.
Planning in Surrey is decided by your borough or district council, which is Guildford Borough Council for Guildford. Much of the countryside around Guildford lies within the Surrey Hills National Landscape (formerly an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), where the permitted development rules for garden rooms are tighter:
Golf simulator rooms often exceed standard permitted development height limits too. We check everything at your free site survey and handle any application for you.
