Sophie and Hugh had an old summer house at the top of their garden, and wanted it replaced with a contemporary, flexible and airy room. Both work from home, and while they wanted enough room for desk-space, they also wanted a multifunctional family room for their children to use too. To allow in lots of light, we included a large full length casement window to one side and for ventilation we added a top hung window on the front and rear. We incorporated the slope of the garden by building a deck area to the front of the 3m wide bi-fold doors with a planter to soften the view from the house. The result is a stunning, modern-looking garden room with enough space for the whole family to work and play.
Absolutely blown away by our new garden room. Grant and the team were quick, professional, on-time (in fact beat the expected deadline) and we ended up with a fantastic office/garden room. Very very pleased with all aspects. They also dealt with every last minute change we threw at them. Offered advice on local regulations. Suggested design improvements. We love it and could not recommend any more highly.
