Paul wanted us to build him a music studio in the unused space at the side of his house. The bespoke 2.6m wide, 4m deep garden room has a double layer of acoustic plasterboard, acoustic underlay and laminated double glazed acoustic glass in the doors and windows so that he can play without disturbing his neighbours. It has Thermowood cladding on the front and overhang, and no-maintenance black fire-retardant, box-profile cladding on the boundary-facing sides.
